Providing a Range of Long-Lasting Dentures in Scottsdale

Dentures are a great option for tooth replacement. At AccuCare Dental, we create new dentures and replace ill-fitting dentures. We offer both full and partial dentures that can be either replacement, immediate or conventional. Here are some more details on each type of denture.

Full Dentures

Dentures are a great option for tooth replacement. At AccuCare Dental, we create full dentures for people who are missing all of their natural teeth. We also offer both types of dentures to our patients – both immediate and conventional.

Immediate dentures are placed immediately after their teeth are extracted. Conventional dentures are placed 8 to 12 weeks after the teeth extracted.

The benefit of conventional dentures is that they are better fitted to the gums and bone of the patient’s mouth. Immediate dentures are normally used as a temporary replacement while the patient’s gums and bone heals.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are used for replacement when the patient has one or more healthy natural teeth still present in the mouth. A fixed bridge replaces one or more teeth by placing crowns on the teeth on either side of the space and attaching artificial teeth to them.

Not only do partial dentures replace the missing teeth, they also prevent the present natural teeth from shifting in an unhealthy direction.
