A bridge replaces the gap between missing teeth. Bridges are made by anchoring to the natural teeth on either side of them or by anchoring via a dental implant.
The “fake” teeth in between the bridge are made up of porcelain, metals, ceramics or a combination of these materials. On your first visit we will give you a temporary bridge, so you’ll never have to go without teeth. Then on your second visit, you’ll be given your permanent bridge.
This is a great option for those who want a fixed dental restoration solution, but cannot afford complete dental implants. We’ve included a great video animation below showing how dental bridges work:
